Double-sided. Made with the end-grain method: oak squares are glued together in a stylish checkerboard pattern. Vertical placement of wood fibres, perpendicularly to the working surface – increased durability, resistance to scratches, and preventing dulling knives (blade goes in between wood fibres).
Made of premium quality oiled oak wood, very dense and massive – impact and scratch resistant. Oiled with food contact safe oil – prolonging the longevity and visual qualities of natural wood. With 2 undercut handles (milled handles) – can be easily moved despite its size. One side with perimeter gutter to prevent liquids spilling on the worktop. Not dishwasher safe. Required regular wood maintenance with natural, food contact safe oil.
